Refined, expressive and naturally musical, Samrat Majumder returns to The Hague following his current UK tour, which includes an appearance at Wigmore Hall in London.
Samrat studied at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, graduating cum laude. He has since been named a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, Classic FM Rising Star and Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship Artist.
On 15 November, he brings a programme of John Dowland, Johann Sebastian Bach and historic Scottish lute music to The Hague.

About The Hague Guitar Society
The Hague Guitar Society brings people together through the classical guitar. What began as a small concert series has grown into a broad programme of concerts, education and participatory projects in The Hague and the surrounding area.
Alongside the Haagse Gitaar Serie, the Society organises educational activities such as Hallo Gitaar and the annual Gitaar aan de Sluis Festival, where concerts, workshops, young talent and community participation come together.
The Society also collaborates with the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and supports the Leidschendam-Voorburg Guitar Ensemble, creating opportunities for musicians of different ages and backgrounds to learn, perform and make music together.
With the help of local partners, musicians, professionals and volunteers, The Hague Guitar Society contributes to an open and vibrant musical community.
