Why guitarist Smaro Gregoriadou is so exceptional: on November 17, Smaro will open the 2024-2025 season of the Hague Guitar Series at the Old Catholic Church in The Hague with the theme ‘From Bach to De Falla: Aspects of the Sacred!’ Besides her experimental use of unique guitars, her musical phrasing is nearly unmatched. Music lovers and critics alike praise the playing and musical interpretations of the Greek guitarist. Smaro will perform a beautiful program, featuring composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Manuel de Falla, Stepan Rak, Fernande Peyrot, Agustin Barrios, and Paco de Lucia.
